The self as an open educational resource (OER)

The concept of self_OER has only recently been proposed (Bali and Koseoglu, 2016; Koseoglu and Bali, 2016). Conceptualising openness as a ‘worldview’, or as a ‘way of being’, it involves widening understanding of open educational resources (OER) from one of physical content to include individuals in the learning community. The processes and products of open scholarship (texts) are proposed as resources themselves.
Further to this, Koseoglu and Bali (2016) ask “how might the processes and products of open scholarship align/intersect with the goals of open education?”
