Open Source curriculum
What would an Open Source curriculum look like?
There is something incredibly powerful about the way communities come together to create code that powers the information infrastructure we take for granted. How could similar processes be harnessed for the design of curricula and learning materials? First, we need to understand how the code-producing communities really do their work which will remove a lot of the mystique. But even after that, we'll find there's so much there, that's of use.

This is really interesting. We have been talking at the OU about the notion of Open Design - ie making the design process more explicit, more open, more shareable. See for example this short presentation and example.
