Multimedia alternatives demonstration

I'm happy to say that there is now an alpha web service to look at,

maltwiki.org

This demonstrates some of the key features:

1. A small collection of captioned video - dialogues can be styled to indicate the speaker, for example by aligning and colouring the captions.
2. Transcripts where captions are not available.
3. An accessible Flash media player - currently only for captioned video.
4. A multi-lingual user interface - French (hover on the buttons).
5. Full integration with oEmbed, so that a blogger or content creator need only write,

   - this is converted by the blog software and the MALT Wiki web service into the necessary embed code. This same syntax can be used to embed Slideshare presentations, Flickr photos and so on.
