Looks like a great list Antonella - would be interesting to hear from teachers who have used these, to find out how they have used them.

"Beyond Google" is a quick guide written by Richard Byrne, a social studies high school teacher, aiming to help students to harness the different search options available on the web, using Google's or Firefox 's features or testing other engines. Interesting the section related to real-time search engines, as Scoopler, One Riot, Collecta, which allow a multiple search in different sharing services. They are useful when it is important to find update and popular content on the topic of interest.
