Discussion group: Using other visualision tools for design

• Exploring the different tools, looked at some online timeline tools for example
• Useful when you are designing to be able to zoom in and then out again - google earth as an analogy
• Common everyday tools can also be useful to visualise designs - such as Powerpoint or Prezi, etc.
• Visualise the design in different ways useful, people work in different ways need to see that.

Some things our group talked about:

• need to be able to zoom in and out of design to see big picture (google earth analogy)
• use of every day tools such as PPT, preso, Word doc
• value of seeing design in different ways i.e.some people like visual, others prefer linear.  Can help you to see things that you may not have noticed
