This Cloud has been set up to aggregate tools, resources and discussion around using the library and media service teams at Brunel University to support the design and implementation of new or revisited modules. In addition, this stall will begin to highlight the information and tools available for addressing accessability issues early in the design process.

The Library provides a range of services to support teaching and learning, such as information literacy and academic skills training, and we are always keen to be involved with course planning and course design, even if only in consultation, at the very earliest stages.

In fact, early involvement helps the Library plan and tailor services accordingly, so you can make the most of our services. As we support the entire institution, from academics, administration to students, we have a unique perspective which may be useful when designing and resourcing new courses.

We also value feedback - let us know how we're doing and  what you'd like more help with, or  just simply keep in touch and let us know what you're doing or thinking of doing in the future, so we can come up with ways to help you and your students get the most from your Library experience.

Thanks for adding Alastair's document - and the links work on it too which is excellent!

Hi, as in the previous workshop held in November 2009, I will be coordinating this Stall in collaboration with colleagues from other Central Services Units within Brunel which include the Library, Disability and Dyslexia and Media Services.

I will be uploaded updated materials containing information about how these services can support lecturers at Brunel in the design, development and delivery of their teaching programmes.  I do hope that you find these resources useful.

I've made an ASK poster (and a handout version of it) briefly explaining some of the blended learning initiatives we are, or will be, involved in. There are plenty of 'ASK for staff' handouts, as ever, so if anybody wants us to get involved with them they know how to get in touch!

I'll be around lunchtime tomorrow, after giving a presentation at a School teaching review.
