How about finding out a bit more about the people you work with on a daily basis (and also about the ones you are just coming to know through this event)?

Please state three interesting things about you, one of which is a lie.

We'll all try to identify which one is the lie, let's see how well we can spot it!

 Let's have some fun...

  1. I have a paragliding pilot's license.
  2. In my first professional job after graduating I had control of a £2m+ budget to test aeroplane jet engines to destruction.
  3. The number of years since I graduated is greater than the number of years until my official retirement date (bit of a riddle too).

Which is the lie?

Answer added 11 Dec 2009

Number 1 is the lie - but has an element of truth in it because I did have a lot of paragliding lessons and got my student pilots license, but you have to put so many flying hours in to get the full pilots license, and alas I never got around to it.  That was nearly 15 years ago now...(in my early 30s - hence 3) and 2 was in my job as a mechanical research engineer at Rolls Royce in Derby.

I guess 3 for Andreia, 3 for Karen (how could that be, Karen?), perhaps 2 for Andy (I don't think that 3 is impossible ...)?

LOL
