This Cloud collates the feedback from both the UK and Cyprus 'Using technologies in teaching' workshops. Thank you to you all for completing the evaluation forms - I have collated the feedback here. Q1. Have your objectives for the workshop been met (what were these)?
- Shared knowledge - yes

- Comparing four web 2.0 tools was used to help expand our horizons regarding how to get the most out of technology in teaching
- I wasn't sure what my objectives were but I have found it very useful and interesting

- Clear, straight forward, informative

- Broken down activities and laptops on the tables
- Breaks so not 'head heavy'
- Excellent content. well suited to all (ie worked well for PGCEs in Maths and MFL...)
- Small steps towards our presentation and gradual development
- The group work in planning a lesson together - also very valuable having subject leaders to help in this process

- The lesson planning session using notation - a very visual way.
- Practical, collaborative, lots of talking, subject specific tables
- The freedom to express negative, as well as positive thoughts and opinions

Q5. What didn't you like or could be improved?
- We had a small table!
- We would really like practical, subject specific, music technology training
- Maybe offer to do some initial reading/ preparation first
- Wasn't convinced that the tools we were given were of benefit to the lessons we were trying to plan - didn't really understand the technology!
- It would be good if we had more knowledge of what is achievable with the technology
- During the week - difficult if one is on a placement
- I liked Rebecca;s idea of giving subject specific ideas as a starting point, especially for music!
- Too noisy discussion, laptop screens too small
- Slightly larger font
Q6. What action points have you identified as a result of this workshop?
- To always evaluate usefulness of resources
- Importance of learning objectives
- White boards at both ends, when group work [to provide] seperate space
- Find out more about all types/ styles of ICT support - but use it wisely
- Familiarize ourselves with new programmes - excellent workshop!
- Working on planning in a different way; using all possible interactive tools.
- Learn about the 4 interactive tools: prepare to integrate in PGCE experiences and beyond.
- To evaluate why I shoulkd use a particular technology - whether this is high-tech or just pen and paper.
- How to plan a lesson using collaboration and non-linear planning.
- I felt this too [with regards to non-linear planning]
- Remain open-minded!

Learning design – We got some innovative ideas about designing and organising lessons with the implementation of new technology
Yes, though we would like to have further time to explore the tools used in the workshop. The aim: to see how ICT comes into the lesson through a design model

Instructions for some activities were not very clear
Hands on practice with the web 2.0 tools or demonstration of the basic features of the 4 web 2.0 tools

- Flip chart at the front, not much else
- Have workshop earlier - it would frame and help with online (Cloudworks) activity
- Finding my way to the Michael Young Building
- Screensize (of Smartboard) too small. Laptops helped but 4 watching them was difficult
- Nothing springs to mind - enjoyed it :-)
- Computer each or recomend bring own
- Wall screen bit dificult to see
6. What action points have you identified as a result of this workshop?
- Try and document my own learning design
- Try and use tools
- Uploading photo's on Flickr
- Feedback experience of workshop to module team
- Would like to know how our responses are going to be implemented/incorporated into teh package

Excellent, excellent cognitive structure, a different way of learning.
Q5. What you do not like or could be improved?
Unfavorable point is that the platform has no support for other languages, a tutorial to use, it would be desirable, supported by the user's native language

Yes i think this is a great tool for us to use and to be in touch with knowledge, courses and of course share information.

Have your objectives for the workshop been met (what were these)?
Yes, to learn about new technologies that will help me in my classes. To think outside the box, and analyze how social tools may be used as a learning tool.
What action points have you identified as a result of this workshop?
The use of new tecnologies is not that difficult, is fun, its dynamic, innovative and motivational.
I´ll use one or more of the tools for sure.
What didn’t you like or could be improved?
I liked everything, it was dynamic, our guide was accessible, friendly, available and always willing to help.

1. Cloud works --> confused, interesting, entertained

3. What you liked? --> the simple way to found a lot of people interested in the same subject that share reliable information
4. What could be improved --> teach us to use another tools that we can use in our job as teachers.
5. Action points --> first, use it until i understand how it works because in this moment is a little confused to me, after that a know that i can to take better benefits from it, and then share with other friends.

1. YES I MEET MY GOALS FROM THIS WORKSHOP, I LEARNED ABOUY NEW WEB. 2.0 TOOLS THAT I WILL BE INTEGRATED TO MY ONLINE CLASES.
WORKCLOUDS: IT IS A PROFESIONAL NETWORK THAT WORKS AS PLACE TO ENRICH EVERYBODY WORKS...
I REALY LIKE CLOUDSWORK.... BECAUSE OTHER TEACHERS ARE INTERERSTED IN THE SAME TOPICS THAT I DO...
