Inquiring Mind - skills required of excellent PhD or doctoral students
An excellent researcher at doctoral or PhD level:
- Demonstrates a willingness and ability to learn and acquire knowledge.
- Develops a style of questioning and questioning technique.
Looking ahead, a doctoral student can aim to become an excellent early-career researcher who:
- Demonstrates flexibility and open-mindedness.
- Identifies useful questions, asks challenging questions; always curious.
