Some of the tools suggested in this workshop involve the use of photos and images that you create yourself or obtain legally from the web. If you are not using your own resources then you MUST take care with copyright.

  • To help you find reusable resources, use the xpert attribution tool  (http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/xpert/attribution/) to find photos, video and sound that have been asserted by third parties to be either in the public domain, licensed under Creative Commons or other licences. Once you have found what you want to use, you can download it with the source automatically attributed. (You may still have to check the terms of use from the original location).
  •  You may also need to open a free Flikr account http://www.flickr.com/ to house your photos etc online for use with some of these tools.
