Moving Mobile Learning into the Mainstream: The use of mobile devices such as mobile phones, mp3 players, ebook readers and games consoles has become commonplace, and in many cases they are used to support and enhance learning. What are the implications of these developments for student learning and learning support? Associate Lecturers need to become better informed about mobile learning, to have opportunities to raise issues or concerns, and to help shape the future of mobile learning at The Open University.
