In October 2010, the Careers Profession Task Force published its report, 'Towards A Strong Careers Profession in England. The report makes 14 recommendations that focus on the actions needed to assure a high standard of professional practice throughout the careers workforce. This document reports on the progress made by those responsible for implementing the Task Force’s recommendations.
The report sets out the Task Force’s vision for the careers profession in England but has wider implications for the UK careers profession. The contents of the paper are available in the link below. A progress update was presented to John Hayes, Minister of State for Further Education, Skills and Lifelong Learning in March 2011.
Can you spot innovation in the sub-text? If so, what does it look like and if you were the Minister what top 3 priorities would you choose to focus on?
