IET TCM Event: Introduction to Responsive Open Learning Environment
Location: Jennie Lee Building Meeting Room 1 Ground Floor
Abstract: The European project ROLE (Responsive Open Learning Environments) provides online tools that enable learners to build their own technology-enhanced learning environment based on their needs and preferences. This workshop will introduce participants to these tools and will give them an opportunity to use them for building their personal learning environment.
This will be a hands-on, "bring your own laptop" session.

The ROLE Widget Enchantment Competition aims to bring together the best ideas from both the software developer and the practitioner communities to create a wide range of innovative Web widgets supporting Technology Enhanced Learning.
If you have a cool idea about a widget you would like to develop, you're welcome to submit it to this competition. 3 winners will be supported by the ROLE project to develop their widgets and will win an iPad!
