How do we reseach large-scale, distributed environments?
What are the contemporary equivalent of collecting data that the OU used to collect (for example data on insect distribution, etc) using new technologies? Biodiversity project is an exemplar of applying modern technoligies to data collection
Could we think of an equivalent educational technology reseach questions using the biodiversity architecture?
For example use of OERs in the wild, for example innovative use of tracking - but this doesn't pick up on intend.
Are there modern equivalents of the reflective learning log? Microlearn as a applied varient of twitter to aggregate learning moments.
Capturing contexts - perhaps by using Rose Luckin's notion of context (in particular her use of the notion of filtering) and her ideas around ecologies of learning or perhaps reapplication of Acitivty theory as a theoretical framework.
