Preparing for the meeting

The OER 2009 meeting is designed to be highly interactive, to maximize learning, network with colleagues, share experiences, ideas and common challenges faced around the world. The meeting is a mix of general and breakout sessions designed and facilitated by participants. We will be using this online network Cloudworks before, during and after the meeting to capture highlights, images and short video clips of the event.

• Enter your profile information (My Profile link on the left), and add a photo so that colleagues can look you up and find you at the meeting.
• Add a description of your project, including text, links and media by using the Comment feature in the OER Project Showcase cloud.

• Bring your laptop or smart phone if you can - we have wireless access throughout
• Bring information you would like to share with colleagues in the form of handouts, posters, pictures, videos or presentations.

• Participate in the Showcase: Bring any of the above and set up a presentation area at the opening Showcase and Mixer event. Tables, chairs, wireless internet access, foam board, pens and blank charts will be provided for your use.

A group of local media production students and journalists will be attending the sessions to blog and conduct short video interviews of participants to populate this OER Cloudscape.
