IET Technology Coffee Morning: OU Library’s systems-meeting needs of 21st century’s learners

Abstract: Open University Library Services aim to provide access to a world-class collection of resources that enhance the learning experience of students and support the learning, teaching, research and personal development of members of staff. It aims to make it easier to access quality information resources through using up-to-date, innovative systems and the expertise of its staff that specialise in supporting open learners and open learning methodologies.
In this coffee morning, Hassan Sheikh will briefly talk about the current progress and challenges around the key systems related projects in the Library, and Owen Smith will demonstrate the inside technical examples of some of these services and systems.
