This workshop is based around a number of short introductions, activities and reflections exploring the theme: Using Technologies in Teaching. The face to face workshop is open to OU PGCE students by application only, but the online discussion is open to all, and we would value your contributions.
The aims of the workshop are:
- To give participants an overview of new technologies and how they can be used
- To give participants the chance to critically review the affordances of technologies and their use in different contexts
- To enable them to reflect on the relevance and application to their own practice
- Exposure to a range of Learning Design tools and approaches
The workshop will be led by Rebecca Galley and Paul Mundin who are Curriculum Design Project Officers in the Institute of Educational Technology (IET),Learning and Teaching Development team. The workshop is funded by an EU project through the Design-Practice project (www.design-practice.org)
