The H818 'The Networked Practitioner' online module is part of the MA Online and Distance Education programme run by the Institute of Educational Technology (IET) at the Open University. This online conference is presented using OULive (the OU synchronous discussion platform - a bespoke version of Blackboard Collaborate).

Each H818 student will contribute a short presentation to the conference and there will also be keynotes on each theme from Anne Adams (Inclusion), Chris Pegler (Implementation) and Martin Weller (Innovation).

The conference sessions will be held in OU Live on:
Thursday 13th February 09.00 to 13.00 GMT
Saturday 15th February 13.00 to 17.00 GMT
Monday 17th February 18.00 to 22.00 GMT

The precise programme of presentations for each session is listed below.
You may of course join us for a full session (or more) or just dip in to see the presentations that catch your eye - it is entirely up to you.

Access to the conference sessions is limited to H818 participants, MA ODE alumni, and IET staff. If you fall into one of these categories and would like to register for the conference, please complete this short Registration Form. (NB Current H818 students do not need to register - you will be given information on how to access the conference sessions via the module's Conference Forum).

Interaction. Students have selected content which they are happy to be open to a more public audience and made it available on this site, or linked from this site. If you have any questions you would like any of the speakers to answer, please add them to the relevant Cloud for their session - the questions will be picked up and put to speakers following their presentation.

Further information is being added all the time. Please follow this cloudscape or check back for further information.
