DiAL-e Framework
Framework for the use of digital artefacts to support learner engagement
The DiAL-e (Digital Artefacts for Learner Engagement) is a matrix that stems from a JISC funded project for assisted take-up materials associated with the Phase I Digitisation Projects. Tasked with producing exemplars and support materials for academics to make effective use of the NewsFilm Online archive (www.nfo.ac.uk) the project develop a generalisable framework applicable to sound, text and stiill and moving image archives. The framework is being codified in terms of reusable learning designs. One version of the framework appears on the JISC website as an interactive community space for the exchange of practice exemplars.
