A foreign language media archive
When students need to become accomplished in practice, as well as solving problems on paper, they need authentic examples to develop their skills.
With foreign languages especially, the imperfections of natural speech, as well as colloquial and regional variations, make understanding in practice very different from understanding the perfect standard language of textbooks.
This resource is a collection of short video and audio clips, of native speakers talking in natural settings. Each is accompanied by a transcript and a written English translation, allowing students to check their understanding and interpretation. [Elizabeth Pyatt]
