In computing, as in most professional fields, reflective practice is one of the skills which students are expected to develop, alongside technical skills. This course asks students to keep an electronic journal. Although its use is not enforced, tasks direct students to use the journal to keep notes during their reading and exercises in programming, and during their major piece of research for their final assignment. Students may also use it in revision for their final exam. [Darrell Ince]
