This 7th Edition of the OpenEd conference has as its theme OER: Impact and Sustainability and is the result of the collaboration of the three hosting institutions: Brigham Young University, the Open Universiteit Nederland, and Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
The general objective of the conference is to give a space for discussion, research, practice sharing, and community building around the Open Education and Open Educational Resources (OER) movement, concentrating primarily, but not exclusively, on issues dealing with OER’s coming-of-age. The OpenEd conference is growing as the international forum for those who wish to present and discuss their innovations and/or research projects ,as well for those who are looking for the institutional decisions to be taken to allow open education to become a reality.
Deadline for call for papers: 15 May
Submit a tweet-sized abstract (140 characters or less) and a proposal (500 words or less) describing your topic, project, or research by May 15, 2010 via the online submission system.
All submissions and presentations must be licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0). By submitting a proposal you agree to these terms.
Acceptance announcements will be made by June 4, 2010. All presenters are required to register for the conference
