A virtual country for the ancestors and relatives to the Busy People that once lived close to Kiribati in the Pacific Ocean where the dateline is crossing the equator. In this location and context, the Busy People were truely cosmopolitan and had established a culture where differentiation between East and West, South and North was very problematic. Also they couldn´t make very sharp distinctions between the acitivity of Learning, the activity of Working and the general activity of Living.

Busyland is currently under relocation from the initial site in the Pacific going up in the Clouds. All direct and indirect relatives to the original Busy People will later be invited to enter the new virtual Busyland to write up the Busy People Saga, engage in the restoration of their old culture and taking advantage of modern ICT to create integrated learning, working and living flow experiences. The big challenge set up for the next generation of Busy People is to co-create a new mindset that make experimental Life Long Learning (together with Life Wide and Life Deep learning) almost the same as the art of making a (new) civilization, i.e. a concern for a civilization process re-engineering with the help of modern ICT in which the old educational system perhaps fades away to our history books.
