Exploring users' reactions to futuristic technology through the use of video. In the field of human-computer interaction, video has brought to life positive futuristic visions that have inspired research and triggered discussion of the implications of these technologies.

Currently asking what representation of technology can elicit appropriate responses - should it be one that highlights benefits, or one that highlights problems? This has inspired Contravision - presenting two different visions, and then considering viewer reaction to both of them.

The Contravision method elicits a wide range of reactions to technologies that do not exist and that may raise sensitive issues.
