I also spoke to Joe Corneli. He initially didn't have a poster and when I asked him why he didn't have one - he decided to create one using post-it notes! His poster is on the creation of dynamic maps, which worked well with post-it notes since you can move around the post-it notes and create a new poster. Further it was interactive as other students helped him to add stuff that he forgot to put in - such as his supervisors' names etc. His research is centred on mathematics learning and he is using the website Planetmath to create a more interactive place to share mathematical teaching/ ideas in particular using the concept of crowd-sourcing (as what is done in Wikipedia). He is hoping to make planetmath more focus on the pedagogical side rather than just sharing mathematics.
