My primary research area is eParticipation and one of the ways I am interested in supporting citizens to participate in policy making is through the use of argument mapping systems. To date the only system I have used is Compendium, so I am very interested in hearing about other systems. Currently I am part of the FP7 project ‘IMPACT’ (Integrated Method for Policy making using Argument modelling and Computer assisted Text analysis). The University of Leeds team – myself and Adam Wyner, are responsible for the argument analysis, tracking and visualisation research and developing the associated tool.
