Ideas generated by the workshop on course design and blended learning:
Assessing my students needs, I have identified a fear of writing, not of discussion. There is also an 'essay and grade' focus that I would like to avoid. I espouse a Vogotskian pedagogy, but my blogs and PowerPoints can generate 'legitimate peripheralparticipation'. I hope to post some answers to this following today's activities.
