Really interesting technology coffee morning. Having taken part in the early trial of the technology, it was fascinating to hear how it has been deployed in the field trials, and to see pictures and examples of what worked well, and what didn't work so well. I think the dynamic "in here" table is a particularly good way of giving the indoor students a real sense of contributing to the learning activity.

Anne Adams and Tim Coughlan talked about OTIH (Over There In Here) project, It was a very interesting talk. I think it is quite exciting to be able to support this type of collaborative activity and  enable the communication between in here and out there teams.

This was a hugely informative presentation, followed by a rich discussion, which was particularly relevant and helpful in assisting me to move my thinking forward on an adjacant topic,

As always with this kind of debate, the question came down to polarised argument, eg is this a novelty and delightful gimmick or a useful tool that enhances learning (or both)?

I shall hope to see how the OT & IH research develops and whether it affects the way we teach in the OU.
