Adding journal article references to Clouds in the K802 2010 Resources Cloudscape and accessing the full text of journal articles.

The links to journal articles accessed via the Library website cannot be shared so the articles should be added as academic references. To read these articles, go to the Library homepage click on 'Ejournals' under 'Recommended links' and enter the journal title in the search box. Searching for this title will give you any links that we subscribe to for the journal and details of which years the full text of articles is available. Click on a link and find the article, which should have a link to either a pdf or HTML version of the full text.

I added a link to an article in 'Children and Young People Now' about the Coalition government's agenda for children's and young people's services. I've posted this under 'Youth' as I was particularly interested in the section on youth policy, but there's also material on social care and safeguarding. The article's a bit old now (June), so look out for newer assessments of the new government's policy direction in these areas, as they emerge - and please post them to Cloudworks.

If you're interested in following up the issues raised in the discussion of Reader Chapter 6 in Unit 12, then you might want to take a look at the Cloudscape I've created about my current research on masculinities and working with boys. You can find it here:

Within this Cloudscape, you'll also find this link to a Cloudscape containing a report of the seminar 'Questioning masculinities: policy and practice with boys and men' which was held at the OU in May this year:

Note: as is often the case, I wasn't sure which Cloud to use for these links - 'Youth' seemed closest, but it could fit quite happily under a number of other headings.
