(To get the most out of this workshop it is better to have attended 'Introduction to creating video' first.)
This second session begins with a review of a video interview and a piece of live action, followed by two demonstrations:
- How to set-up for recording a video interview and the principals of being filmed both as an interviewer and interviewee.
- How to present and move on camera, basic choreography, demonstrating and using props.
- Using a production checklist and avoiding common pitfalls
The session closes with a discussion of participant’s ideas for audio visual content.
Dr Janet Sumner is a qualified geologist and vulcanologist, a broadcast executive and lecturer with The Open University.
