Jonathan Vernon : dreaming of innovations and creativity

How might the creative problem technique of keeping a dream diary form part of a collaborative problem solving exercise? VanGundy and others give this and 'working with dreams' as valid techniques, but doesn't this fall apart in a collaborative setting where each person's dream experiences will differ, if remembered at all - and will be prone to vastly different interpretations? Or, when massed do we find that our dreams andhow they work in certain contexts have much in common? Used in history do you hear people talk in context! Use in science do you see solutions? In creative disciplines do you live a fictional narrative or see the painting you want to work on?
