Here is my comment on this tool. Copy and pasted from Widgat cloud comment area:

Hi Sheila,

Thank you for you response, I had another play with the widget and created a simple to-do list. Then I got the embed code and using Tumult Hype 1.6 for a second round development, then exported as an ibook author widget, put into my ibook, and it worked!!! See the screenshot below.  And I tried this one in Moodle, works perfectly!

Here is the link to a web version of this widget:

I am having fun, I would like to get in touch with the team at Teesside to find out more about this project.

Thanks, Alice

Hi Alice , Thanks so much for trying WIDGaT. I see that you are in NZ so it will be difficult for you to be involved in our workshops here, but we may be able to set up a Skype meeting if you would like to discuss the project with us. If you are involved in the teaching or support of students (especially disabled students) perhaps you would like to try developing a widget and try it out with them? We would be interested in your feedback.

Hi Elaine, thank you very much. I am working as an Educational designer alongside faculty, although I am not directly in teaching or supporting students, I am very interested in learning more about developing a widget.

I went through your webpage of Accessibility Research center about the inforamtion on WIDGatT, I am still not clear how this widget will help with disabled student?  Can you tell me a bit more?

I have went through the basic tutorial video at, I have some idea of how to work with the two template, but when I tried to use blank template and develop my own widget, I got stuck, so if it is possible to have a skype meeting and get more help from you would be great, and I will try to develop a widget.
