Real-time collaboration: staging the transition from Elluminate

With the planned, phased replacement of Elluminate Live! services from later in 2013 onwards, the OU has engaged in a tendering exercise to source a similar product for real-time or synchronous collaboration, retaining as many of the key features as possible. A greater emphasis took place on integration and accessibility; planning for a production-ready service and large-scale transition from the new 2013/14 academic year. The tender was concluded and a contact awarded around the New Year, and this session will cover outline information on the product chosen, and early planning.

For more information on the rationale and the selection process, please see:

More information about the new system will become available in the lead-up to and following the Learn About Fair later in February.

11:30: Close

If you would like to attend please e-mail: IET-ELC-Admin

The event is being recorded and will be available on Stadium shortly after the session.
