IET Technology Coffee Morning: Enrolling academics in sharing teaching ideas: building a community of practice about online role
13 September 2011
Jennie Lee Building Meeting Room 1 Ground Floor
Abstract: Using Project EnROLE as a case study, Sandra proposes that repositories of teaching ideas cannot be created and sustained without simultaneously building a community of practice. Project EnROLE was a national Australian project to Encourage Role-based Online Learning Environments. The case study serves to illustrate 5 elements of community building. This work is background to Sandra's current OLnet Fellowship at the OU which is a collaboration with Cloudworks to share learning designs.
