This online conference is presented using OULive (the OU synchronous discussion platform - a bespoke version of Blackboard Collaborate).
Each H818 student will contribute a short presentation to the conference and there will also be keynote presentations from:
- Professor Patrick McAndrew, Director, Institute of Educational Technology, The Open University UK.
- Sarah Chesney, Director, Flourish Learning.
- Professor Martin Weller, Institute of Educational Technology, The Open University UK.
The conference sessions will be held in OU Live in February 2017 (times given are UK time i.e. GMT):
- Thu 9th Feb 09:30 - 12:30 (Keynote: Patrick McAndrew)
- Mon 13th Feb 19:00 - 21:45 (Keynote: Sarah Chesney)
- Wed 15th Feb 09:30 - 12:00 (Keynote: Martin Weller)
The programme can be found below, including links to the abstract pages of the students' presentation, upon which you are invited to ask questions or make comments - these may be answered by the student on their page directly, or may be answered during their presentation itself.
Access to the conference sessions is limited to H818 participants, MA ODE students, alumni and staff, and IET staff. If you fall into one of these categories and would like to register for the conference, please complete the form here https://goo.gl/forms/bDZjtwXrPNZwdSmF2 (opens in new window). You may of course join us for a full session (or more) or just dip in to see the presentations that catch your eye - it is entirely up to you. (NB Current H818 students do not need to register).
